Payment Information:

We do not store your payment card details. All payments are processed securely by Razorpay Software Private Limited, which operates under its own privacy policy. We only receive a transaction reference and confirmation status from Razorpay.

• Processing and fulfilling your orders, including dispatch notifications
• Sending order confirmation, payment receipts, and delivery updates via email or WhatsApp
• Authenticating your identity via email OTP when you sign in
• Improving our product catalogue, website experience, and recommendations

• Complying with legal obligations under Indian law, including GST record-keeping
• Preventing fraud and ensuring platform security

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Brand Partners & Fulfilment Partners: Your name, phone number, and delivery address are shared with the relevant brand partner or logistics provider solely to fulfil your order.
• Payment Processor: Transaction details are shared with Razorpay for payment processing.
• Communication Tools: We use WhatsApp Business API and email services to send order updates. These service providers process data under appropriate data protection agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by a court order, government authority, or applicable Indian law.
• Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy protections.

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience on Planetars. These include:

• Essential Cookies: Required for the website to function, including your shopping bag, session state, and authentication status. These cannot be disabled.

• Secure, access-controlled databases hosted on Supabase with row-level security policies
• OTP-based (passwordless) authentication to eliminate password-related risks

While we employ industry-standard security practices, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to promptly notifying affected users in the event of a data breach, in accordance with applicable Indian law.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations:

• Order Records: Retained for 7 years from the date of transaction, as required under GST and financial record-keeping laws.
• Account Information: Retained for the duration of your account's active status, plus 2 years after account closure.
• Communication Records: Retained for 3 years for customer service and dispute resolution purposes.
• Marketing Data: Retained until you opt out or withdraw consent.

Upon expiration of the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian law, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
