Terms of Service

By accessing, browsing, or using the Planetars website at planetars.com (the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Planetars is a conscious commerce platform that curates genuinely organic, traceable products from Indian organic brands. It is operated by Alma Mater Biz Solutions Private Limited, registered under the Companies Act, 2013.

Planetars operates under two models:

• Affiliate Model: Planetars facilitates the connection between customers and brand partners, earning a commission on referred sales.
• Direct Fulfilment Model: Planetars procures products from brand partners and fulfils orders directly to customers.

In both models, Planetars acts as the merchant of record for payment processing purposes.

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, to use this Platform. By using Planetars, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Currently, Planetars services customers located within India only. International shipping is not available at this time.

To access certain features of the Platform, including the Planetars Pantry, Green Rewards, and personalised recommendations, you may be required to register an account using your email address and a one-time password (OTP).

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account access
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately at launch@planetars.com of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

All prices displayed on Planetars are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice.

When you place an order:

• You receive an order confirmation via email or WhatsApp — this is an acknowledgement, not a guarantee of availability.
• A binding contract is formed once your payment is confirmed and your order is accepted by Planetars or the respective brand partner.
• In cases of pricing errors or product unavailability, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Product images are for illustrative purposes. Actual product appearance may vary slightly due to the natural, artisanal nature of organic products.

All payments on Planetars are processed through Razorpay Software Private Limited, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. Accepted payment methods include UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, wallets, and EMI.

Planetars does not store your payment credentials. All financial data is processed and secured by Razorpay under their Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliance.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details on delivery timelines, charges, and areas serviced. In summary:

• Standard delivery: 2–5 business days from order confirmation
• We currently serve PIN codes across India
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to logistics or force majeure events

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for complete details. In summary:

• Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of order placement
• Returns are accepted for damaged, defective, or incorrect items within 7 days of delivery
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to the original payment method
• Perishable items cannot be returned unless defective

All content on the Planetars Platform — including text, logos, product descriptions, designs, photography, UI components, and software — is the intellectual property of Alma Mater Biz Solutions Private Limited or its licensors, protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and IP laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Planetars content without prior written permission. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

You agree not to use the Platform for any of the following:

• Fraudulent orders, chargebacks, or payment disputes initiated in bad faith
• Scraping, crawling, or automated data extraction without written permission
• Posting false reviews, misleading ratings, or fake engagement
• Impersonating Planetars, its staff, or brand partners
• Any activity that violates applicable Indian law or causes harm to other users
• Reselling Planetars products without an authorised reseller agreement

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, order cancellation without refund, and legal proceedings.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Alma Mater Biz Solutions Private Limited shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits not directly caused by our negligence
• Delays or failures caused by third-party logistics providers, natural events, or force majeure
• Product quality issues arising after confirmed delivery where the product was as described

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to such claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by our negligence.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
